Summary: The Field Landman will support the company’s exploration and development efforts by performing leasing, easement acquisition, title research, and stakeholder outreach in our area of operations. This position is based near our field office and will work closely with landowners, local officials, and regulatory bodies. The Field Landman will report directly to the Director of Land and serve as an integral part of our long-term land strategy, helping ensure consistent, local presence and continuity in operations. Key duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Conduct title research and analysis in county courthouses and online databases
- Negotiate and acquire oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, and other land-related contracts
- Represent the company at township meetings, community events, and meetings with local stakeholders
- Monitor local permitting, zoning, and regulatory developments that impact company interests
- Coordinate with contractors and third-party land service providers as needed
- Prepare reports, maps, and documentation for internal use and regulatory filings
- Maintain accurate and organized land files and records
- Support the Director of Land on strategic projects, acquisitions, and due diligence efforts
- Serve as a local point of contact for landowner inquiries or issues

- Associate’s degree in Land Administration, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant land experience (title, leasing, or fieldwork) in the oil & gas industry
- Knowledge of state and local land laws and regulatory processes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-starter comfortable working independently in a remote office
- Willingness to travel locally within the operational area as needed
- Familiarity with land management software and mapping tools a plus
- AAPL membership or CPL/RPL certification preferred but not required
- Active Pennsylvania Notary Public or ability to acquire
